Membership and Closure Update

by May 10, 2020News

Following the most recent announcement from the Prime Minister we wanted to give you a quick update on the enforced closure of gyms across the UK and what it means for Gym 01.

From what has been said we envisage being able to open at the earliest in July, however this is by no means certain and we will wait for further announcements and of course up date you all. When we are finally given the order to re-open we shall do so with whatever social distancing guidelines they instruct us to adhere to and already have several plans of action in place to ensure we can offer the best service possible to you while adhering to the governments conditions.

We wanted to take this opportunity to also thank each and every member who has been able to keep their memberships active during our closure. Every single direct debit that is still being paid is enabling us to pay the essential running costs of the gym while we are closed. Without these we would have to close the doors for good so a big big thank you to everyone that has been able to support us and we hope you are able to continue to do so.

Whilst we do not have a fixed plan as yet to repay the memberships, once we are re-open and we know fully what financial position we are in we will look to reimburse every single person that has been able to maintain their direct debits during the forced period of closure and will release details of this as soon as we can.

For those that have supported us with our recent crowd funding we cannot thank you enough and hope you are all able to use your vouchers and 121’s. Details of how you can claim, and spend your vouchers will be released over the next few weeks as it all depends on extra funding we are trying to secure through partners of crowd funding.

We are still able to sell goods from the gym which include pots of gold, steamed chicken breasts, merchandise and kit. If you require anything please e-mail us on and someone will come back to you within 48 hours to arrange collection.

Please stay safe everyone and remember to keep up to date with all of the coaches on our YouTube channel and Facebook groups.
